“They advanced and the sky turned grey, and the greens dressed darker and more intense. The heavy clouds, eager for rest, laid down between the tree tops and penetrated sweetly into the depths of the woods. With suitable slowness, the invading clouds covered everything in its interior, painting the landscape in beautiful translucent whites and supplying a delicious perfume of freshness.”
“The mist is the enemy of our eyes, hiding malevolent the reality that surrounds us. And makes us blind. Again, the allegory of the senses put them in the eternal paradox of contradiction in terms. Impertinent ambition, the extreme desire to see.
They remained living the incongruity of not seeing for a long while. And in the flowing of blindness, wonderful pictures appeared inside them. And a calm silence dispelled any anxiety, relaxing all the rest of the senses. And so, hand in hand, they remained until, for some reason or not, decided to no longer be there.”

“The way governs the journey, but it does not oblige it. Respectfully it orients the walk. The path shows with bright greens what from it can be seen, but it will never reveal the blackness that cohabits beyond, well how may that be seen which never was discovered? Confident, the traveller lets himself flow with the furrow that tells him what course to take. Like the river searches its sea, the hiker lets himself be veiled upon the finding of his expansion. The river and the way majestically share what the future will bring, which defines what one is. The search of the end supposes the grand challenge that conditions their existences, but they never go alienated by it, since in the end the beginning is to be found. Nothing shall it matter if the end is not to be seen, nothing shall it matter if the consummation does not share with us its being. Should it matter not being in the place, if the place is always in us? If the cycle is the one that truly governs us, then we are to flow or to go, like the river or the way. Free and in whatever pace we wish; intoning wonderful melodies that enrich the passing by, without feeling limitation. The white in the bright sky gives us hope of the black that does not let itself be seen and that lovingly dissimulates the excess of light that blinds us.”

“As the road was twisting and narrowing, the landscape was more ruggedly shaped. The profiles of those beautiful surroundings, aged by the passing of time, endowed the mountains with a certain reverential air, and leaning on their green meadows, they also marched lit towards the celestial fiord, bright, blue and beautiful. And there, in a dark corner of the narrow passes, the enormous white arm of the glacier appeared splendidly, touching the water surface with obvious caution. However, the fear of that titan did not preclude its magnificent embrace with the water, because even with its own death being present in the liquid, it gained glory and confidence in their direct contact. The wisdom of the transmutation of change. Ice and water, two same beings who showed different moods, is it not praiseworthy to glorify the embrace of one same being that takes pride in what it is, even when its same external conditions warn them of loosing their own identity? What whim of destiny could make the wonderful encounter between life and death shine, the to be or not to be of one same being?
A divine gift, very welcome, indeed.”

“The poet sang and told us that on the tundra there is no room for nothingness, since it does not know how to live there. The icy steppe is full of a lot and lives with the same hope as everyone. In the endless winter, while snow protects the green, green patiently awaits its break and in the short summer, the white blanket is absorbed by the latent ice of its depths and the infinite shades of colour then bloom. Spring never comes, autumn is unknown, because there it is all or it is nothing. And in the end, the poet recited in his song:
That everyone finds their wish, or not, that everyone decides if to be all or nothing, or neither, or both. But on the way, being whoever you are, choosing or not choosing, live, because in living there is no room for absences.
There are some who think poetry always ends, just like the way, and that then it is when absence comes. But even this thought, is also to be chosen.”
